Where's My Bottom Horny Layer?

It’s been a while since I’ve seen some good random Chinglish, and certainly didn’t expect it in a small little shop after eating some BBQ and watching England score their first goal of the World Cup, but here we are.

The truth is, I really don’t need face cream, but the 6å…ƒ price tag was nothing to be able to capture this little bit of humour. Sorry it’s a bit blurry, all my lightbulbs seem to have chosen the last 24 hours to go out. [update: I took a new photo, this one’s better]

AN INTERESTING EPISODE UNBELIEVEABLE.
Here is the matter about a bike and the bike owner in SUZHOU , foreigner residing in one of the apartmet’s place in SUZHOU .The foreigner used to live in 6th top floor of the apartment.It was just a couples of day’s time for the foreigner to live in that area .He was having a e-bike.As a matter of fact when he started living in his flat,when first time he use the bike in that apartmental area the gate keepers and him has a contract that when the foreigner will park his bike near the common opening gate parking of the watchman the foreigner will pay 15 rmb per month,as asked by the watchman of the apartmental area’s comon opening gate. There were about many workers to keep the vigilence job as also unknown by the foreigner at that time.The bike belonged to two foreigners and the bike had no numbers. It had just happened the second time of parking the bike the foreigner noticed that his bike was stared one of the worker watchman in unusual way.Just the second day of his bike parking in the vigilence area of the parking lot of common opening gate of the apartmental area,One of the gate keeper ask the foreigners to change the contract to give 5 mao for each time of parking and during taking of his bike to go outside place.The foreigners did’nt liked the gatekeeper ‘s this idea so they disliked the gatekeepers boss.Their flat owner knew some little english so they could have some chat too whenever they had met . One of the foreigner was having internet so he use to use internet for his ;laptop in his flat room ,this foreigner had the chinese g.f.The other foreigner buyed a laptop too and once their flat owner asked that other that how did the foreigner got the laptop . Within a few days a matter happened just at the end of that weekend . The foreigners gone out of their flat with and returned with many things bought by them.Their flat was couples of distance away from the gate parking area.In that day afternoon they had bought many things and when they returned back ,they park their bike not in the gatekeepers vigilence area but they parked their bike in the front of their apartment as their bike battery was low and they had many stufs purchased by them,so that they could come back in the evening to take theirt battery for charge.Then later after one hour they found that their bike disssappeared from its place ,the foreignersw try to found out where the bike go , but they could’nt . Then one of the foreigner try to ask the gatekeeper that to know from the gatekeeper about the matter but instead the gatekeeper ask the forigner that where is their bike(?’).But the foreigner did’nt go to police at the time because they thought their bike has been stolen and it is useless to go to police because their bike was not having any number.After a week later the foreigners chinese g.f and the gatekeeper had argue about the bike but instead the gatekeeper started blaming that the foreigner is not good and he did’nt like to talk anymore about the bike anymore ,there had argue with 2 gatekeepers but one of the gatekeeper was cooperative but the other gatekeeper who seem to stare on e-bike was uncooperative to talk.It happened about three months one of the foreigner came to understand that one of the gatekeeper boss making fun of the foreigners that they don’t have bike . The gatekeepers boss started making fun of the foreigners and it was came to known by a foreigner who was little extraordinary too. A couple of day later the one of the foreigner left the place to do job in some other place not in tnier town.Later the boss started making fun when he use to see the foreigner later the other also us eto say bendan’ to the foreigner as said by hte boss.Now some days later the boss use to heard the voice of foreigner and he got a little frieghten after that he satrted to increase the number of people to say bendan’ to foreigner and to show himself as right person he said to people because the foreigner did’nt give 5 mao qian so foriegner is a bendan’ .Local people beleived the boss , the boss had good advantage because the foreiner can’t understand some wordsw at the time and can’t able to express himself in Chinese. After that the boss started playing his politics’, and the matter still gone for some day’s as tragedy later just a couple of one or two day before because the boss feel difficult to handle the foreigner,he try to blame as well ask the foreigner boy to stop muttering in his mind’ as heard by the boss.

I came across your site because I translate Japanese, and I too was confronted with the “horny layer” issue. I found out that it is a not uncommon term among doctors and other skin care professionals. The Latin is stratum corneum (lit. horny layer). It is called that because it grows in the same manner as an animal’s horn. It can also be called the cuticle layer. Just fyi.
